Advancing the University of Florida’s mission of teaching, research, and extension & service is what UFIT strives for each and every day. The division’s support of the UF mission is reported on annually, in the form of a Contributions Report. The 2015-2016 Contributions Report is now online.

The Report is structured around the six areas of governance for UFIT, with a Project Spotlight feature in each section. Spotlight topics were chosen to represent information technology enhancements that will have significant impact for campus. Other components of this year’s Report include a pie chart of UFIT’s budget distribution and effort allocation information for the top 10 projects in FY 2016.

VP and CIO Elias Eldayrie discussed the importance of the Contributions Report content at the Fall IT Assembly, held December 15 at Emerson Alumni Hall. Approximately 300 attendees heard SG President Susan Webster and Eldayrie speak about the ways UFIT adds value for our students, faculty, staff, and the larger Gator community. The event video, as well as Webster’s and Eldyarie’s presentations are available in UF’s Mediasite catalog.
