Conquer Finals Week with UFIT, Library Tech Services

MSL study room available to reserve

Finals week is Dec. 13-19, but there’s no need to panic: In addition to free online study resources, UF offers on-campus services to ease students’ workloads as exams, presentations, and paper deadlines approach. While you’re brewing your coffee and temporarily deactivating your Facebook account, remember:

Charger Checkout at MSL
Nothing ruins a study session like a laptop with low battery. Avoid that dilemma and check out one of Marston Science Library’s rechargeable power packs, compatible with most smartphones, laptops, netbooks, and tablets (excluding MacBooks).

Save Money with Hub Poster Printing
Presenting a final project to a professor or class? Poster printing at FedEx or Kinko’s can be costly. The Hub offers cheaper rates on poster printing on both standard and high-gloss photo paper, and it’s easy to submit your image file to them online.

Expanded Lab Hours
Visit any of UFIT’s seven computer labs to print out class notes, outlines, or final papers. Most labs are open until 10 p.m., and the Architecture lab is open 24/7. View the lab schedule here.

Reserve a Study Room at Collaboration Commons
Marston’s Collaboration Commons boasts nine study rooms that you can reserve online. Each has a glass board for writing, monitor, and comfortably seats four to 14 people depending on the room. Reserve a study room for you next group study session!
