Twice weekly offerings of the Best Practices for HyFlex Technology online workshop are being offered through Dec. 23. Instructors can register for a session and review additional resources related to HyFlex teaching on the Preparing for Spring 2021 website.

HyFlex-enabled classrooms are also now available for faculty to practice in. Drop by and become familiar with the various technologies prior to the spring 2021 term…no reservation required!

The open HyFlex-enabled classrooms dates are Monday thru Friday, Dec. 4-23, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Classrooms available for drop-in practice are Computer Sciences Engineering (CSE) E220 and E221, and Matherly Hall (MAT) 0002, 0003, 0004, and 0005. These classrooms are equipped with standard HyFlex-enabled technologies, including dual monitors at the podium–one of which will allow pen annotation. They also includes a webcam, microphone, and document camera. (Some classrooms upgraded for spring may also include additional technologies.) Note that the December open classroom dates are self-guided. However, UFIT will also have open classrooms Monday thru Sunday, Jan. 4-10, 2021. For the January dates, instructional technology experts will be available on-site to answer any questions.

Instructors with questions about integrating HyFlex technologies into their courses are welcome to contact UFIT’s Center for Instructional Technology and Training.
