Checking Course Accessibility in E-Learning

Does your Canvas course content meet accessibility guidelines? Not sure how to go about checking or correcting accessibility issues? Then, the Ally in Canvas training is for you. In this informative, practical training, you will be introduced to the key features of Ally and learn how to access a course accessibility report that shows accessibility issues file by file and tips on how to correct each issue. In addition, you will learn to identify accessibility issues within your course content and get guided assistance in correcting these issues. Ally is a digital accessibility tool already integrated into your Canvas course, so checking for accessibility couldn’t be easier!

The Ally in Canvas is a two-hour training and offered three more times this term. All sessions taught in Hub 221. To sign up for any of these sessions, visit Ally in Canvas registration link:

February 27: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
March 26: 11:30 am. – 1:30 p.m.
April 16: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
