On March 21, more than 13,000 students will receive an email from Vice President & CIO Elias Eldayrie, inviting them to participate in the 2016 Study of Students and Technology. The University of Florida is an annual participant in this survey, which is sponsored by EDUCAUSE. Students from 161 colleges and universities participated in last year’s survey.

Among the topics students can voice their opinions on in the 2016 survey are: using mobile devices on campus, the quality of the classroom IT environment, wearable technology devices, and their satisfaction with wireless services in both UF learning and non-learning spaces. Feedback from previous EDUCAUSE surveys has led to better-informed decisions about information technology resources at UF, so students are encouraged to respond. As a thank you for participating, all students who complete the survey will be entered into a campus raffle for a $50 or $100 Amazon gift card.

Anyone with questions about the 2016 Study of Students and Technology may email the CIO via UFIT’s Communications group.
